Rose trimmed daisy
Life has been depressing lately,
My mind travels to dark places;
My black heart bore a hole and empty,
As I see familiar faces.
What more could you want, you ingrate!
What more do you need?
I replied "freedom, infinite.
And love that could feed."
No more life as a rose trimmed daisy,
Cease all my sufferings for me.
Isn't it plain ludicrous a play?
To expect what is not in me?
What more could you want, my beloved?
What more could you need?
You screamed " my dreams you shall inherit!
No room for you plead."
In that case inherit your dreams I shall,
If it will bring you peace.
Until all that's left is an empty shell,
